All Schools of Kanepokhari Rural Municipality of Morang District will provide free education to the students of Classes 11 and 12. The Rural Municipality has brought forth the “Free Education, Wish of Kanepokhari Rural Municipality” program in the current fiscal year’s plans and programs.
Under this program, the four government schools in the area of Kanepokhari Rural Municipality will provide free education to their students in Grades 11 and 12, said Chairman Rajmati Ingnam. According to her, the residents within the municipality and the students who passed SEE from the Schools of the Municipality will be eligible for this facility.
The students of the four schools will no longer need to pay the admission charge and the monthly fee, the students only need to pay for their uniforms, books, and registration charges when studying in the respective schools.
Santosh Ghimire, Chief Administration Officer of the municipality said the program was brought with the aim that the students of the municipality can get higher education under the direct supervision of their parents. The program is not available for the students outside the municipality, he added that this was limited to the students of the municipality as education free of cost is an attractive offer to everyone.
