Nepal Pharma Expo:
The 8th Nepal Pharma Expo 2022 will be held in Chitwan from 22 April to 24 April (9 Baishakh to 11 Baishakh). The Association of Pharmaceutical Producers of Nepal (APPON) has planned to organise the event at Chitwan Expo Centre, Bharatpur, Nepal.
This Expo will be inaugurated by President Bidhya Devi Bhandari on 22 April. Various multinational companies and Nepali pharmaceutical industries exploring new technologies in the field of medicine will be participating in this Expo.
This Expo will hold discussions on different technical and policy issues faced. Santosh Baral, Media Coordinator of APPON said the recent developments in Medicine and materials used in production like Technologies, Labs, Machines, Raw Materials, and Packaging materials will be exited in this Expo.
Nepal Pharma Expo claims that this Expo aims to educate people that Nepal can produce quality and required quantity of medicine. This expo will focus on expanding the knowledge and technology embraced by Pharma Industries, said Baral.
150 stalls will be set in the expo for domestic and international companies. The Pharma Expo has been held in the country every two years for the last 20 years, but it had to be stopped due to Covid. Now, as the Covid situation eases the eighth Expo is being held. The Expo Organizers expect more than 15,000 visitors in this 8th Nepal Pharma Expo.
