Students with More than Two Failed Subjects in Class 12 Will Still Be Eligible for Grade Increase Exam, Says CDC

The Curriculum Development Center (CDC) has proposed an amendment to the provisions of letter grading guidelines to allow students with more than two failed subjects in class 12 to participate in the grade increase exam.
Under the previous guidelines, students with more than two failed subjects were required to take exams for all subjects to be eligible for a grade increase. However, the CDC’s proposed amendment ensures that students will be able to participate in the grade enhancement exam regardless of how many subjects they failed.
The CDC’s proposed amendment is a result of the introduction of the Non-Grading (NG) system, which allows students who failed more than two subjects in class 12 to only take exams for their NG subjects. The CDC has sent the proposed amendment to the Ministry of Education for review and approval.
