Agreement between Pokhara University and NMB Bank

Overview
Pokhara University and NMB Bank have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to facilitate electronic payment for various internal and external payments of the university.
Under the MOU, NMB Bank will collect or pay money on behalf of Pokhara University and its affiliated officers, teachers, employees, students, and colleges. Pokhara University and its affiliated parties will be able to make payments to the university through the university’s website, mobile banking app, corporate net banking app, and other NMB Bank-owned applications.
Pokhara University will maintain an account with NMB Bank for fund management purposes. The bank will not charge any fees beyond regular fees and charges for facilitating the acceptance of digital payments.
The MOU was signed by the registrar of Pokhara University and the CEO of NMB Bank, and was attended by the vice chancellor of Pokhara University and various officials from both parties. NMB Bank currently operates 201 branches, 138 ATMs, and 9 extension counters throughout the country.
