Ballot Papers will be printed in green

The Election Committee is preparing ballot papers with Green Election symbols on a white background for the upcoming Local Level Elections.

The commission has decided to put a green election symbol, green line and green number intending to make the counting of votes easier and the sign on the ballot paper clear. The Spokesperson of the Election Commission Shaligram Sharman Poudel said ballot papers with green, black, blue and symbols have been used in previous elections as well. And the decision has been made to make the ballot paper voter and enumerator friendly.

The Local Level Election will be held on May 13.
