Bishnu’s village did not have a local Nimawi school, so she had to travel a long distance to continue her studies. However, after a lower secondary school was established in the village, her desire to study was reignited.
Despite her low income, Bishnu’s husband supported her by working as a wage earner. With his encouragement and her determination, she began studying again and is now preparing to take her 8th class examination.
However, the journey to school is not easy for Bishnu as there are no good roads in the village, and she uses a wheelchair. But with the help of her classmates, she makes the journey every day to continue her education.
