Several government employees, including the joint secretary of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Bhagwan Aryal, and the member secretary of the National Examination Board, Durga Aryal, have traveled to the US using student fees. They left for the US with their wives on the day of Phulpati and are expected to return after Dashain according to recent news.
The visit has been met with opposition from the employees of the National Examination Board, who are demanding that the expenses of the trip be paid privately. The employees have warned that they will continue their protest until the demands are met.
According to the Ministry of Education, the team will be studying the examination system of the US. However, none of the related officials from the board or the ministry have been willing to comment on the visit.
Private School Directors Pay for Wives’ Expenses:

According to sources at the Ministry of Education, the program for the government employees’ visit to the US was actually scheduled for after Dashain. However, the employees left for the US on the day of Phulpati, leading to speculation that the trip was planned for personal reasons.
