Major Highlights of the Current Macroeconomic and Financial Situation of Nepal by NRB

The central bank of Nepal, Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) unveiled the current macroeconomic and financial situation of Nepal on the basis of the first six months’ data of the fiscal year 2078/79.

The reports state that the y-o-y consumer price inflation increased from 3.56% to 5.65%in the sixth month compared to the last year. Non-food and service inflation marked a 6.23% rise whereas food and beverage inflation stood at 4.92%.

Food and beverage inflation stood at 4.92% whereas non-food and service inflation stood at 6.23% in the review month.
