As the two letters regarding MCC became public, the deceit of Dahal is exposed.
Dahal for a few months has been speaking about the amendment of MCC deal but as soon as the joint letter of Deuba and Dahal became public all the lies lay in front.
Dahal, in the letter, has never mentioned the amendment issues regarding the deal, the letter sent only deals to time for clarifying the MCC grant to the House of Representatives and the people of Nepal. He is subjected to agreeing with the MCC- Nepal deal.
“We, the leaders of the coalition partners of the present government of Nepal, jointly make a request to the MCC Board for providing additional time for the ratification of the compact”, Deuba and Dahal wrote. “We want to assure you of the government of Nepal’s intent in securing the MCC grant and implementing it for the economic development of Nepal.”
But to the public, Dahal claimed to disagree with the current deal and said the deal needed an amendment.
