Five fake Examinees were Arrested during MBBS entrance exams

The cases of Fake Examinees are often seen during the entrance exams for MBBS. On Friday, Five fake examinees were arrested from the  MBBS entrance examination after receiving information that they were participating in the entrance exams. The Metropolitan Crime Branch launched “Operation Echo” to arrest them.

Amar Pandit-22, Ramnath Chaudhary-22, and Madhuram Yadav-26 were arrested from CCRCC College, Naya Baneshwor. They are studying first-year students of Kist College in Lalitpur who were studying with government-provided scholarships. Ishtiaq Ahmed-24 and Sunny Kumar-23 were also arrested at Ambience College, they revealed that they were lured by financial temptations.

The students arrested were tempted to be paid Rs 2 lakhs to Rs 18 lakhs.

Basanta Kunwar, Chief of the Metropolitan Crime Branch and Senior Superintendent of Police say these fake students have been found to be participating in the exams due to the system that lacks verification after filling the online forms. The department fears that 20 percent of the students in the entrance exams might be fake.
