Former President Dr Yadav says Nepal needs to apply Technical education

Former President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav said Nepal needs to adopt technical education as it is a need in today’s world. While monitoring the Shailaja Acharya Memorial Polytechnic in Jahada Rural Municipality-4, he said that technical education will help produce professional manpower and help in the development of the country.

Former President Dr. Yadav said the government should design a plan that targets the poor and deprived communities in rural areas so that everyone can gain access to education. Local, state, and federal governments should pay attention to the development of this technical school located in the rural area. He also urged the students to apply the knowledge and skills learned through technical education for the greater good of the nation.

Shailaja Acharya Memorial Polytechnic came into operation due to the cooperation of CTEVT and Krishna Prasad Koirala Sewa Guthi. Shanta Bahadur Adhikari, chief of the polytechnic college said the educational institution has 500 students studying in different disciplines in the college.
