Gautam Buddha International Airport will operate regular flights with Jazeera

Kuwait’s Airways, Jazeera Airways to make the first commercial flight at Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA).

Jazeera has filed an application at the CAAN (Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal) in order to conduct regular flights with GBIA from May 22.  Dev Chandra Lal Karna, Deputy Director-General of CAAN shared that Jazeera airways has filed an application to operate Kuwait-Bhairahawa-Kuwait direct flight. The application was for one flight daily with Jazeera in GBIA. The airways has been operating regular flights with Tribhuvan International Airport.

Nepal Airlines Corporation would make a test flight at GBIA from April 14 and the airport would be open for Commercial Flights from April 20, said Karna. He added that all preparations for commercial flights have been completed.
