The former Deputy Prime Minister of Nepal and former chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Kamal Thapa decided to leave the party. In a press release today, he stated,
“With a heavy heart and anguish, I have decided to leave the Rastriya Prajatantra Party. I will always be proud of the moments I spent in RPP for 31 years. I have no animosity towards any of RPP’s friends. I wish you all the best.”
He also explained the reason behind leaving the party where he has remained for more than three decades. He stated that his words and opinions were ignored.
