EDUCATION NEWS IN NEPAL
Introduction:
The National Education Day is being celebrated all over in Nepal today. The theme of this year’s celebration is “inclusive and skill-based education and retention of youths within the country.”
The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology is organizing a program to mark the occasion. At the program, the ministry will confer the “Nepal Bidyabhushan Honor” of “a”, “b”, and “c” categories on various personalities and awards to the institutes, teachers, and employees.
A total of 177 persons will be awarded, including 90 persons achieving PhD, 71 doing best at the Master’ Level, and 44 doing best at the Graduate Level. Chhatra Bidya Padak will also be awarded in the program.
The awards named “Nepal Prabidhi Bidya Bhusan” and “Social Welfare Education Prize” have been added for this year.
The ministry has said that as the budget for the event was allocated late, only prizes would be distributed for the time being and medals would be provided later.
