Ncell and Shequal Foundation are working together to organize a hackathon called “Hacking for Humanity” that aims to empower women in the field of information technology. This news was published by Ncell on 23rd January 2023.
The hackathon will take place on February 10-12 and will be open to teams of three girls from across Nepal. The hackathon will focus on solving problems in areas such as health, education, and agriculture. The registration for the hackathon can be done via the Ncell App. There will be 16 mentors and 11 jury teams at the event, and the winning teams will receive prizes.
The goal of the hackathon is to encourage more women and non-binary people to participate in the field of IT and to support their equal participation in the digital economy.
