Nepal Law Campus, then Nepal Law College was established on July 1, 1954 (2013). The Law College was established to foster manpower in the Legal Sector required by the country. This institution has ever since made significant changes in uplifting the Legal Education System in Nepal. The Campus is the leading law institution in the country.

Initially, the Campus provided law courses based on Patna University, but only after the Establishment of Tribhuvan University, the Campus has changed to its current form. In the early days of the Campus, a 2-year Certificate Level program and a 3-year Diploma Level Program were provided. After Tribhuvan University renamed the Institute of Law to the Faculty of Law. Thus, the Nepal Law Campus’s current form was developed. TU introduced an Undergraduate program – 3 years Bachelor in Law (LLB), and the certificate and the diploma courses were removed.

Nepal Law Campus is the leading law institute working alongside the Faculty of Law, at Tribhuvan University. It is a constituent college of Tribhuvan University The campus has been providing the 2 Year LLM program offered by Tribhuvan University since 1996 and a 3-year LLM Program since 2013, aiding the students who seek qualifications to become resources in the field of law. The Campus has been producing excellent trained individuals in the legal sector of Nepal.
