Nepal plan to open 27 new five star hotels

Despite the ongoing Covid, investors still pour money into the new hotels. The data at the Department of Tourism reveals investors actively investing in the hospitality industry for constructing five-star hotels in Nepal.

Among the 27 new hotels, 17 of them will be based in Kathmandu Valley while the rest will be located at Rupandehi, Morang, Mugu, Kaski, Kavre and Banke.

Investors are attracted to Rupandehi due to the newly constructed GAUTAM BUDDHA International Airport, while most Indian Investors are attracted to open a business in Banke as it is a gateway to Mansarovar.

The highest estimated investment is 12 billion in a Hotel in Kathmandu.
