The government has decided to begin the new academic session of 2079 BS from the coming Jestha. Spokesperson of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Deepak Sharma said on Wednesday that the ministry has decided in this regard.
Meanwhile, Janak Shiksha Samagri is busy printing textbooks. A new curriculum for class 9 is being implemented in the coming academic session. Janak Shiksha will also print the ballot papers for the local level election to be held in Baisakh. Janak Shiksha has already received PRC (Printed Ready Copy) of two compulsory subjects out of five.
