As the election dates approach, the Election Commission (EC) of Nepal is holding a discussion with all major political parties on Friday to brief them about the progress made for organising the upcoming Local Level Election.
The commission has summoned representatives of 17 political parties to inform politicians of the progress made on polls and solicit the support of political parties. The meeting will be held at 11:30 AM today.
The political parties are to bring two representatives along with their leader for a consultation meeting as per the request of the Election Commission.
The Spokesperson Shaligram Poudel of EC said, Almost a month has passed since the announcement of the poll, this meeting will discuss and conduct interaction to receive feedback from the parties.
