Taplejung’s Displaced Teachers have been Rehabilitated

Five teachers from Taplejung who were displaced as a result of the conflict have been resettled. The teachers who were displaced as a result of the 10-year Maoist conflict/war have received a letter of rehabilitation from the district’s education development and coordination unit.

The teacher has been granted a letter of rehabilitation when they were displaced during the conflict at the school they were working at, according to Yogeshwar Bhattarai, Head of Education Development and Coordination Unit Taplejung. He also stated under the Mikwakhola rural municipality, Nand Kumar Bhandari (secondary level) has been recommended for posting.

In contrast, Padma Bahadur Yengden has also been nominated for Mikwakhola, Kamal Prasad Mainali Atharai Tribeni Rural Municipality at the primary level (basic level). Deepak Bhandari and Jagat Bahadur Dahal have also been sent letters for posting in Sirijungha Rural Municipality, according to the unit.

Bhattarai, the head of the Education Development and Coordination Unit, said that as much as feasible, a rural municipality has been asked to place the recommended person. The government displayed the list of teachers who had become jobless as a result of the labor struggle last February and decided to restore the regular teachers who had been displaced from their job.
