A student of a community school in the Himali district was injured in a beating by the teacher. Rajan Poudel, a 17-year-old student of Prakash Secondary School in Benibazar has been injured. Parents have filed a petition demanding action against the teacher. The student’s father said that he sustained head and body injuries during the treatment.
Navin Ghimire, a teacher of Beni Municipality-2, Jamarukkot, admitted that he had beaten a student by throwing stones at him. It is alleged that he and another student beat up four other students on the same day.
