Khageshwari Devi, the daughter of Chandra Shumsher Jang Bahadur Rana, was his wife. At 5 years old, Singh started his school. In 1895, he graduated from Calcutta University, and in 1897 he graduated with an I.A. from Allahabad College. In 1906, he earned his degree in Law at the University of Calcutta.
Upon completing his studies, Singh builds an ayurvedic hospital in local areas. During his reign, he established a right to own land, also known as Mohiyani Haq. Several roads and bridges were built for the residents’ benefit. He founded a primary school to provide education to impoverished youngsters.
Prithvi instituted social reforms and produced books on a variety of topics. He is regarded as “Nepal’s first grammar writer“.
