On the occasion of World Poetry Day today, a literary program has been organised to celebrate it.
Department of Literature (Poetry) of the Nepal Pragya-Prathisthan has organised a special poets’ conference said Shashi Lumumbu, Communication and Diaspora Coordinator of the academy.
UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation) declared 21 March World Poetry Day “with the aim of supporting linguistic diversity through poetic expression and increasing the opportunity for endangered languages to be heard”.
