Tribhuvan University and Pathao Company have signed a memorandum of understanding to provide scholarships to undergraduate students studying in the university.
According to recent news, the agreement, signed on October 15, 2023, will provide scholarships worth Rs1.5 million to students studying in 62 private campuses of Tribhuvan University. The scholarships will cover students’ fees studying in the Faculty of Humanities and Sociology, Faculty of Management, and Faculty of Education according to bilateral agreement.
Pathao Company to Provide Financial Support:
Pathao Company is a ride-giving and food delivery company that operates in Nepal. The company has agreed with Tribhuvan University to provide financial support to help students from poor and needy families to pursue their higher education.
Scholarship to Cover Tuition Fees and Other Expenses:
The scholarships will cover the selected students’ tuition fees and other expenses. The scholarships will be awarded to students based on their academic merit and financial need.
Signing Ceremony Attended by University Officials and Pathao Representatives:
The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Pashupati Adhikari, Director of the Directorate of Student Welfare and Sports from Tribhuvan University and Suraksha Hamal, Senior Manager from Pathao Company, Vinod Joshi, Executive Director of International Relations Center of Tertiary University, Prof. Dr. Dhuvra Kumar Gautam, Director of Planning Directorate, Asimman Singh Basnyat, Managing Director of Pathao Company and others.
