Application period Extended for Class 11 Scholarship -KMC
The Kathmandu Metropolitan City has extended the application period for studying under the Class 11 scholarship quota by three days. The Metropolitan Education Department issued a notification and extended the deadline from 11:59 pm on July 31st until 3 pm. The decision was made after students complained that they were unable to apply due to delays in arranging documents and receiving certificates.
The extension aims to give more students the opportunity to apply for the scholarship. However, it’s important to note that the examination date remains unchanged despite the deadline extension.
So far, 5,728 applications have been received for the scholarship, which is available to approximately 4,300 students. Most of the applications are for science subjects.
