A large number of high school graduates from Nepal are found being interested in abroad studies. Australia is a highly developed country which has been attracting students from all over the world.
It is the country with the highest ratio of international students per head of population. In 2019, more than 812,000 international students were enrolled there. The highest number of students are from China, India being the second, followed by Nepal in the third ranking. There are a large number of Nepalese students going to obtain degrees in Australia.
Government of Nepal need to give special emphasis on higher education in Nepal so that we can stop a large number of students traveling abroad. This would definitely help to save the fees to be retained.
