There are signs that the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) for the academic session of 2080 may be rescheduled. The recent earthquake in Jajarkot and West Rukum has had an impact on education in those areas, which could potentially affect the SEE.

Nandlal Paudel, the Controller of Examinations for Class 10 at the National Examination Board, has stated that the final exam schedule for SEE has not been confirmed yet due to the earthquake in those districts. He has mentioned that there are reports of poor educational conditions in those areas, suggesting that there might be a need to postpone the SEE by a few weeks. In case it is not feasible to conduct the exam simultaneously in all districts, it may be conducted in two stages.

Officials from the board will be visiting Jajarkot and Paschim Rukum next week to assess the situation nationwide and make a decision regarding whether to hold the exam simultaneously or in two stages after these two districts. Requests for postponing the exam have been received from both districts. The board had previously announced its plan to conduct the SEE in the first week of Chaitra next year. Last year, the exam took place starting from the 6th of Chaitra.
