Elon Musk, the richest person in the world, wants to open a new school in Austin, USA. According to Bloomberg, the school will teach science, technology, engineering, and math (STEAM) to children in first through twelfth grade. Musk gave $100 million to his charity, The Foundation, to start the school.

Musk hopes to eventually turn the school into a university. The school will start with 50 students and grow from there. Similarly, the students will be taught online. However, nothing has been revealed about the admission criteria and syllabus. But in the context of Austin becoming a new hub for educational institutions, Musk’s new school is said to add a new chapter.

This isn’t the first time Musk has opened a school. He opened a school called Ad Astra ten years ago to teach his children and the children of SpaceX employees.
