Nepal lost to UAE with 68 runs in the T20 World Cup Qualifiers Semi-Final match.
Nepal was only a victory away from finally qualifying for the T20 World Cup after defeating Canada on Monday.
On Tuesday, UAE set a challenging total of 175 runs in 20 overs, losing 7 wickets to which Nepal countered with 105 runs losing all the wickets in 18.4 overs. This loss becomes the deciding match refraining Nepal to enter the 2022 T20 World Cup.
