Public Pranksters could be Punished

The Ministry of Home Affairs (गृह मन्त्रालय) issued a press release today regarding its concern about videos being uploaded on various social media platforms under the name of pranks, jokes, and comedy, which are putting mental or physical pressure on the general public.

According to the press release, it is not permitted to record or upload videos of the public without their consent. This kind of activity often results in unnecessary discussion, mental pressure on the victim, and violence of peace and individual’s privacy. Anyone involved in such an activity will be punished in accordance with the law.
