EDUCATION NEWS IN NEPAL
Introduction:
Education Minister Ashok Kumar Rai has assured the Nepal Teachers’ Federation that the bill related to school education would be tabled in the Federal Parliament before Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal‘s foreign visit.
School Education Bill:
The bill was passed by the cabinet one month ago, but it is now back at the cabinet for reconsideration due to protests from stakeholders.
A task force has been formed to address the issues of stakeholders and incorporate them into the bill. The bill is expected to be tabled in the Parliament in the coming weeks.
According to the recent news, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal will leave Nepal in 2nd week of September to participate in the 78th UNGA, USA.
