On December 25, 2021, NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) successfully launched the largest and most powerful space telescope. It is named the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) has a as a mirror that is 21.3 feet (6.5 meters) across. It is too larger than the Hubble Space Telescope. Its construction began in 2004 and took 17 years to complete.
