Tourism Board will operate Shuttle Buses for Tourists’ convenience during the election.

Considering the inconvenience that might be faced by tourists on Baishakh 30 (May 13) due to no vehicle movement order on the day of the Election, shuttle buses will operate in Kathmandu for the transportation of Tourists from Airport to the Hotels.

The Tourism Board, with the help of the Tourist Police, will operate the buses in cooperation with the Tourist Bus Association of Nepal and the Nepal Tourist Vehicle Association from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) to Hotels and from Hotels to TIA following different Routes.

Route 1 will go from TIA to Nepal Airlines Cooperation, Hotel Annapurna, Hotel Yak and  Yeti, Thamel Chowk, Lainchaur Chowk, and Shankar Hotel and end in TIA.

Route 2 will go from TIA to Hotel Raddison, Hotel Shangrila, Narayan Gopal Chowk, Maharajgunj Chowk, Hyatt Hotel, Chabahil, and end in TIA.

Route 3 will go from TIA Tinkune, Chowk, Hotel Everest, MaitiGhar Chowk, Hotel Himalayan, Hotel Soaltee, Grand Hotel and end in TIA.

The Tourists using the shuttle bus will have to pay the charge of NRS 300 to the bus owners, according to the Tourism Board.
