The Office of the Controller of Examinations (OCE) at Tribhuvan University is set to launch an online service for the distribution of educational certificates starting from January 29, according to Examination Controller Pushpa Raj Joshi.
This initiative aims to streamline the process and eliminate the inconvenience faced by students when obtaining their academic certificates or accessing other TU examination services. By utilizing the online platform, students will be able to request services such as transcripts, provisional certificates, re-totaling, and copies of educational certificates.
They can simply fill out a form and make the payment through the electronic payment system. Within a week, the OCE will send the requested certificates to the respective regional offices, thereby reducing the need for students to physically visit the Balkhu office.
Initially, the certificates will be available for collection at these regional offices, but starting in May, they will be sent directly to the respective campuses, allowing students to receive their certificates within five days. Currently, around 1,000-2,000 students visit the Balkhu Office daily for educational certificates. To access the online service, students can visit the official website of the OCE at www.tuexam.edu.np. In addition to the Balkhu office in Kathmandu, Tribhuvan University also has regional offices in Biratnagar, Pokhara, Nepalgunj, and Attariya.
