Agricultural University in Nepal Struggling to Fill Seats Program

Introduction:

An agricultural university in Nepal is facing challenges in filling seats for its agricultural program. Out of the allocated 934 seats, only 350 students have enrolled in government institutions, while 234 seats remain vacant. Private colleges have also failed to attract students to the allotted 350 seats.

The university is considering another round of admissions due to this situation. Factors such as job opportunities and infrastructure issues have contributed to the low enrollment. Immediate action is needed to address the declining interest in agricultural education and produce skilled manpower for the sector.
