Kathmandu Metropolitan City is offering a free three-month online training program on CyberSecurity

The Kathmandu Metropolitan City is offering a three-month online training program on cyber security to 4,000 individuals. This initiative is part of the “Employment and Income Growth, Kathmandu’s Prosperity” scheme, which aims to train 15,000 people and provide employment opportunities to 5,000 people.

The Kathmandu Metropolis has partnered with EC Council and Gap Technologies to conduct the training. Ajay Paudal, the program’s contact person, has provided participants with information on topics such as smartphone security, email notifications, device authority, and potential risks associated with internet-connected applications. The training will also cover fundamental aspects of programming, networking, and cloud technology.

Upon completion of the training, participants will have the opportunity to take an exam and receive a certificate. Additionally, their names will be included in the labor bank of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City. It is important to note that individuals from all over Nepal can participate in the training program, even though it is conducted by the metropolis.
