Rs 70 Billion budget allotted for Education Sector

The government has allotted a 70 billion budget to the Ministry for the upcoming fiscal year. Finance Minister Sharma said that the amount was allocated through the budget statement.

The government has allotted 70 billion to the ministry, 5.32 billion, and 121 billion to the local level, adding up to a 196 billion budget for the 079/080 fiscal year. The budget for education for the upcoming fiscal year is more by 16 billion than the budget for the running fiscal year.

The government is also going to begin the process of establishing a medical college in Dadeldhura. The government said the establishment of Medical Colleges is encouraged to attract foreign Students for Medical Education.
