In a significant move towards digital transformation, Tribhuvan University(TU) has introduced online transcript and certificate services starting today. The University’s Examination Control Office, PANICA, has started this online service to make the process easier for students, reducing the need for physical visits to the office located at Balkhu.

Under the newly launched online service, students can use various services, including transcripts, provisional certificates, reissuing, copying, and corrections. PANICA has also announced the presence of an e-payment system, from where students can pay the required fee.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to apply online for transcripts:

  1. Visit the official website of the Examination Control Office here.
  2. Click on the ‘Certificate Application Portal’ link displayed on the homepage.
  3. Choose the ‘Sign Up’ option to register.
  4. Complete the registration process by clicking on the verification link sent to your email.
  5. Upload the registration slip in PDF, JPG, or image format.
  6. Navigate to the ‘Transcript’ section and provide the necessary information. For other services, select the desired option and input the required details.
  7. Fill out the online form, deposit the specified amount in the designated bank, and click ‘submit.’
  8. Following submission, the service delivery process will commence, with notifications sent based on branch-specific updates. If all processes are met, transcript printing will proceed.
  9. Subscribers will receive a notification once the certified transcript is prepared. Any incomplete or incorrect information will be communicated to the student for rectification.
  10. Certificates for students using online services will be distributed through the respective regional examination control offices.

The Examination Control Office has stated that the service will initially operate both online and offline, with a subsequent notice to be issued regarding complete online operations. For correction of names, surnames, etc., necessary evidence should be submitted to the Central Office of the relevant Regional Examination Control Office at Balkhu according to TU.
